What is normal?

During the healing time you will notice your piercing secreting a clear milky fluid and drying up around the jewelry in a yellowish crust.

This discharge is lymph, blood plasma, and dead cells and will taper down as the piercing heals.

The area may be red, tender and feel slightly bruised.

DO NOT be suprised if you experience minimal swelling, bleeding, bruising or discharge....this is all normal. Feel free to call or stop by and talk to your piercer at ANY TIME!

There are no stupid questions regarding your health. If you think that you may need attention, once again: do not remove the jewelry. This can cause problems for you. Call us or stop by for us to take a look.
